Cancellation and Refund Policy

Shaz it up a bit reserves the right to amend any class, schedule or private lesson. If this arises we will endeavour to provide a substitute class, schedule or tutor within 30 days. Should a course be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments, any student enrolled in that course will be contacted and an alternative course will be arranged.

Please choose carefully as fees are non-refundable. All purchased Gift Certificates, Courses, Private Lessons either online or Mobile can be changed to a date that is agreed upon between the tutor and the student within 30 days of the original booking. All purchased Private Lessons either online or Mobile can be changed to a date that is agreed upon between the tutor and the student within 30 days of the original booking. After 30 days from the original booking, no replacement booking date will be given and a refund will not be issued.

Full payment must be made prior to commencement of the course. Shaz it up a bit cannot accept responsibility for changes to students’ personal circumstances that prevent attendance. Course Classes missed are the student’s responsibility and are non-refundable. Students are entitled to a make-up class if they miss a class in any class/course they are enrolled in. A total of three classes per course can be made up in the following round of Course Classes

Payment of fees

Class fees are listed with the online course details on our website. Payment of the full class fee via online payment is required at the time of enrolment to secure your place. We accept PayPal, Visa and Master Card.

or online direct deposits into our bank account by pre arrangement. Tax receipts will be provided on receipt of payment if required.

Gift Certificates

‘Purchased’ gift certificates are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase or until the date listed on the certificate. Our Cancellation and Refund policy applies to ‘Purchased’ Gift Certificates used to pay for classes. Students with gift certificates must email or call Shaz with the purchasers name to book a course or lesson.

Project Materials

Material lists for classes are emailed upon registration. Students are required to supply their own Project materials per lesson.

Course Recognition

Shaz it up a bit is will issue a Crew Member Cricut ANZ Certicicate on completion of the said Course within 30 days.

Shaz it up a bit Marketing

For any photos or videos during the course of students and projects. These photos are used for Shaz it up a bit promotional purposes such as press advertising, brochures, social media, editorials and website. These photos will never be sold and will be used exclusively by and for Shaz it up a bit. As a Condition of Enrolment, your consent is implied. Should you not wish for us to take and use photos of you or your projects on our social media please notify us in writing.

Student conduct

Shaz it up a bit Courses are a shared space either online or in a face to face designated store environment and we expect students to respect fellow students. Discrimination on the grounds of a person’s age, race sex, gender, sexuality, marital status, physical or intellectual disability, or religion will not be tolerated. Any inappropriate language or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from a class. In this instance a refund will not be provided.

Punctuality

Things happen to everyone, even your tutor! Out of respect for other students and your tutor, students are requested to be punctual for class, please arrive 5 minutes early to set up your working space, Zoom and Design Space. If you plan to arrive late or leave after the course or workshop has commenced, please provide a curtesy call, pm or text to the tutor.

Privacy

Contact information you supply to Shaz it up a bit will not be disclosed outside without your express consent, except where required by law. We do not retain any credit card information that you may provide.

Expectations of students

Students must notify Shaz it up a bit of changes to personal details for the purposes of contact during any courses.

Students unable to attend a private lesson should advise Shaz it up a bit by phone messenger or text and reschedule within 30 days. As per previously mentioned, no refund can be sought after 30 days from original booking.

Students are not to hinder other student’s ability to listen and learn during classes.

Any student who disrupts classes or are abusive, threatening or violent will be asked to leave the zoom or instore classroom and may result in removal from the course.

Mobile phones are to be turned to silent during all classes.

It is the student’s responsibility to check the make up class dates. 

Sometimes, due to unforeseen circumstances, a class may be cancelled unexpectantly. Students are advised to check their phone, facebook and or email messages before coming to class. Any cancelled class by Shaz it up a bit will be rescheduled.

Pricing

All prices on this site are in Australian dollars and are subject to change. Prices include GST (if any) unless otherwise marked. An invoice/receipt will be issued on successful enrollment or purchase if required.

Privacy Policy

When you send us an email, register your contact details or enroll in a course, your contact details will be recorded.

Shaz it up a bit will from time-to-time send mail and emails to students and past students for the purpose of marketing. Should you not wish to receive mailings from Shaz it up a bit, please notify us that you wish to unsubscribe and you will be removed from our mailing list or text STOP to Shaz it up a bit after receiving a marketing text.

Shaz it up a bit will not disclose your contact details to any third parties for marketing or other purposes not related to the Cricut Courses.
